Sunny 90
This morning we woke up at 6:15 when I set the alarm. I got already in my plaid short outfit and packed up my bathroom stuff so I could close up the suitcase. By that time Marilee had warmed up the cinnamon rolls for breakfast, so I ate and did the dishes. I helped Mommy with the bathroom stuff and Dad packed up the car. But by the time we had packed up and loaded everything we drove out of the parking lot at 9:00 a.m. We still made it to my Grandma Jo’s house in Portland by 10:20 tonight. Everyone is so nice and friendly even though Monet and Laura had gone home an hour before, I love them very much. So after stopping to eat in Burley at J.B.’s and in LeGrande at Taco Time, we had fun during our twelve hour trip. Love,

Partly Cloudy 75
Blue Lake Park, Portland, Oregon
Today was the big day of the long awaited family reunion!!! It was so much fun and more. We got up early and ready while Mommy was at the store getting the stuff for all the games we picked out yesterday and for broccoli salad. Marilee did mine and Mommy’s make up after everything was ready to go and we were on our way because it started at 12:00. Everyone gave big hugs and kisses and talked while we started getting the food ready. Then we had a barbeque – hamburgers and tons of other food. Then we played Mommy’s great games and rode on paddle boats, played softball, and I even hit the ball once! Right after the game we ate hot dogs and as the park was closing and the sun was going down we all sang songs and cried on the last one. Love,

Rainy 65
Today I woke up at 6:00 a.m. to say good-bye to Marilee because her flight left for California at 7:00. So as Grandma and I stood bawling at the window, just as she drove away the sun broke through the clouds and it stopped raining. Grandma told me, “You will never be alone. No matter who goes away, someone will always come to you from your family.” So we tried to go back to sleep but couldn’t and Marilee’s plane was delayed until 1:00. I fixed breakfast and we skated with everyone there except Bill, Carol, Bambi and Jon, and most everyone skated with us. Marty was there too. So we waited until Mom came back from taking Marilee and we went shopping and said goodbye to Monet & Kevin before they drove back to New York. Dad was so friendly to Kevin we couldn’t believe it! Charlotte had us come over to her cool old house to talk about our next family reunion in 2 years instead of 5 we decided. We watched some of the videos from yesterday and had KFC. Then we all met at someplace to watch the fireworks and light some off too! Then we all came back to Bill’s to say goodbye to everyone and go to sleep. Love,

Rainy 60
This morning when I got up Mommy was all ready going on a walk. So I packed my stuff and got ready. But Mommy was already back and fixed a big breakfast. Then Dad came from Clackamas and we had a long goodbye with Grandma, Bill & Carol. Then we stopped at C & O and at Cunnayoti’s in Pendleton and drove all night. Love,
