I hope something from Stake Conference today will be remembered. At least from the adult meeting last night. Elder Hales spoke and talked about the brother of Jared mostly. Having faith in your prayers while fully acknowledging him and his greatness. It was really good, what I heard of it! lol Markus wanted to walk around, Morgen kept teasing Max and so Max had a fit about his gobstoppers that Morgen took from him. All in all it was a rather LONG meeting and it was a good thing when it was finished. I think that sometimes it is better when things are over. Now if Markus will just take a nap - it will be great!
When I wrote on my birthday I forgot to write about what I received. Ben gave me some workout clothes, Monet a license plate cover, and Shawna gave me a pink water bottle, lipstick and bracelet. Sharon and Mindy gave me some little skates to hang on my wall.
I want to look at and evaluate where our marriage is at in the present. I want to set some long term goals, to look at where we want our marriage to be in six months, in one year, in five years. I have learned some new skills like - listening, resolving conflict, and expressing feelings. I compliment Ben - at least 1 time a day. I have regular marriage meetings or progress checks. I have made it my policy to say no to everything that takes away from alone time. I have been making time for ourselves first and then chores. I am also writing down two things that make me feel like we are getting closer. I make the first move to make up. I hope that I am getting better.
